We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our team. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to the patent prosecution process, including filing applications, maintaining records, and working with USPTO deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess strong judgment, a positive attitude, and a commitment to integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO.
- Manage filing deadlines and other pertinent USPTO dates.
- Maintain all records related to patent applications.
- Provide assistance to attorneys in determining patent filing strategies.
- Review patent documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct legal research as necessary.
- Communicate with clients and answer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Identify potential issues and provide solutions.
- Ensure all information is kept confidential.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Intellectual Property Paralegal.
- Advanced knowledge of USPTO rules and regulations.
- Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Google Business Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
