The ServiceNow/DevOps Architect will design and implement ServiceNow platform development, coupled with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud management. This dual role focuses on building and enhancing ServiceNow applications while also driving automation and optimization within our infrastructure using DevOps practices. This architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams like IT, operations, Security, and business stakeholders to implement business-driven solutions. The Technical Architect is responsible for bridging the gap between business strategy and technical implementation, ensuring the technology solutions are aligned with business objectives, delivered efficiently, and meeting the highest quality standards.
Required Skills
4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CMDB
Experience with scripting languages in ServiceNow, including JavaScript, GlideScript, and AngularJS
Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, update set management, and instance maintenance
Experience in DevOps engineering, including experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ADO) and automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management and monitoring in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in a dynamic work setting
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to guide cross-functional teams and spearhead initiatives
- Experience in the design and development of software and cloud systems
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) required
