Location / Reporting
- Location: Boulder, Colorado
- Reports to: Color + Print Manager
- Travel: Limited Domestic travel may be required
- Hybrid: 2-3 days required in office
Responsibilities
Color + Print Development
- Conduct approval of color and print from development to bulk stage.
- Request, track and follow up on print and lab dip requests, supporting manager with factory communication from initiation through production.
- Initiate and maintain digital color and print palettes utilizing programs such as adobe illustrator, photoshop, excel, google sheets and Backbone plm. Ensuring data information is uploaded and accurate in a timely manner.
- Finalize factory-ready print and graphic artworks that are complete in repeat, scale, and color.
- Maintain organized color, print, graphic libraries in the Boulder office.
- Work closely with factories to understand and inform the team of capabilities and innovations as it relates to color and surface design.
- Identify color / print issues and make recommendations for solutions.
Research & Design
- Display industry knowledge of color and print from a technical and brand ethos perspective.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis, contributing to the design and development of color and print concepts.
- Concept and design into new seasonal print stories.
- Assists in the development of presentation materials for meetings and other special projects as needed.
About You
- 1-2 years of related professional experience in textile, color, and print design.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.
- Understand visual and instrumental color evaluation including light boxes and other color evaluating tools.
- Strong understanding of dyeing techniques, color theory and fabric properties are a plus.
- Flexible and resilient and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Communicates efficiently & effectively, working collaboratively in an open environment with product and operations teams and cross-functional partners.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive thinking, initiative, and composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in sustainability is a must.

Compensation
- Estimated to be $45-60k per year; bonus opportunity up to 10% of salary*, equity, Pact product allowance, and monthly healthy living benefit.
- Comprehensive health benefits, partially company sponsored.
- Half day Fridays year round.
*This is a good-faith estimate of the salary range; final compensation level will be commensurate with experience.
