Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the ReliaGear Low Voltage Switchgear Product Manager and play a key role within the ANSI/NEMA Distribution Solutions Portfolio Management team. Reporting to the LV Product Line Manager, you will perform various activities in the product life cycle.
The work model for the role is: onsite (Li-Onsite)
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mebane, NC.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Leading the market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in the portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities.
• Owning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following-up on portfolio performance.
• Leading the offer lifecycle management process, analyzing current offers, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and making decisions on offer obsolescence and end-of life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met to maximize their profitability.
• Setting targets, monitoring offering costs and giving inputs to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s or Master's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent area of studies.
Over 2 years of experience in an industrial environment in an engineering, product marketing, sales, or product management role.
The ability to speak Spanish is helpful for the role
Basic knowledge of power distribution products.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% and occasionally internationally.
