At IMIO, we’re developing microbial inoculants to increase sustainability and reduce environmental harm in the agriculture industry. Our patent-pending products are co-cultures of bacteria and fungi that break down tough plant matter and increase plant-microbe associations for the betterment of soil and plant health. We believe there is no such thing as plant waste, and that “better is better” for the environment and the world.
Our growing team is a mix of expert scientists and business leaders working together to tackle important climate issues facing our planet. IMIO was founded in 2019 and is based in Vermont. We have been funded by the National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research Fund and private investors to answer these tough questions, and we are excited to grow our team to accelerate our progress!
