Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and professional ADU Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus primarily on managing inbound sales leads - potential clients who have already shown interest in our services. Your primary responsibility will be guiding homeowners through the ADU planning and design process, helping them understand the value of choosing A+ Construction ADU Builders for their project.
While most of your work will be office-based, responding to inquiries and conducting consultations, there will be occasions when you’ll need to visit clients on-site to gather project details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound leads generated from our marketing efforts. Engage with potential clients who are actively seeking ADU construction services.
- Communicate with homeowners to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals. Offer expert advice on ADU design, pricing, and construction solutions that align with their vision.
- Work primarily in the office, conducting client consultations via meetings. Use CRM tools to manage lead pipelines and track communication.
- Occasionally visit clients at their homes to assess project feasibility, gather essential information (photos, measurements, etc.), and relay these details to the design and estimation teams.
- Meet clients at showroom to review completed design proposals and estimates, ensuring alignment with their expectations and project scope.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to address any concerns, clarify details, and finalize contracts. Guide clients through the design and selection process to ensure a seamless experience.
- Lead negotiations to finalize the scope of work and pricing, ensuring all client needs are met while maintaining project profitability. Finalize contracts and transition the project to the construction team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven success in a sales role with a focus on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and a solid understanding of construction processes. Experience in real estate or home improvement sales is an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of ADUs, residential design trends, and the nuances of construction in this area is essential.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, AI-driven tools, and sales software with confidence navigating digital platforms to effectively manage leads and streamline sales processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that prioritize exceptional customer service. You should be able to explain complex project details in a straightforward manner and establish a foundation of trust with clients.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, anticipating client questions and addressing potential concerns before they emerge, with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong teamwork skills, able to collaborate seamlessly with a large, international team across both online and offline settings.
- Keen attention to detail, especially in assessing client needs and ensuring accurate communication with design and estimation teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience specifically in residential construction or home improvement sales, ideally with a real estate background.
- Familiarity with the ADU sector and core construction processes.
- Client-facing experience with complex sales negotiations, adept at managing long-term negotiations and fostering strong client relationships.
