At Maimonides every nurse is a leader of patient care, dedicated to clinical excellence in every facet of their nursing practice. We currently seek a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Interventional Radiology Team.
We require:
- Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program with current NYS Licensure and registration
- RN Critical care experience (2+ years preferred)
- Experience in procedural environment/specialty (i.e. Surgery, GI, Cardiology preferred)
- Excellent clinical experience
- Must be able to do or willing to learn minor suturing, and minimally invasive procedures relevant to IR practices.
- Serving as a liaison between the patient, the nursing staff, and the referring physician
- Orchestrating patient admissions and discharge
- Writing pre- and post-procedure notes and orders
- Participate in inpatient/outpatient consultations
- Valid DEA#
We Prefer:
- Fluency in a second language
- ANCC or AANP certification
Salary $138,957 base pay (increase by 5% Jan 1, 2025) $3,500 certification PLUS 1K for every year of verifiable experience as an RN.
