Position Summary:
The Director of Engineering and Program Management leads the engineering team and oversees program execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the engineering team and drive innovation to improve product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement engineering processes to optimize productivity and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development from concept to production.
- Mentor engineering talent, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
- Manage program planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to meet deadlines.
Preferred Education and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering and program management, in the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to build relationships with OEM customers and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
