Product Manager 3
Mountain View, CA (645 Clyde Avenue, Mountain View, CA)
Duration: This is initially a 12+ months contract
Top Must Haves:
1. eCommerce website product management specially in the area of customer experience journey management from home page to product marketing pages, product listing pages, cart and checkout.
2. Insights into visitor behavior and trend, chat bot interactions, shopping app experience.
3. Experience in in requirement gathering, converting those into actionable stories and acceptance criteria, and manage requests to completion working closely with engineering (Dev/QA), UX designers, business stakeholders and external partners (third party services consumed)
4. Good verbal, written communication skills and executive presentation skills
5. Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, A/B testing techniques will be required on this role

KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS:
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
• This person will drive customer connection and drive sales conversion activities using customer service chat bots/ agents
• Internalize and deeply understand company’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the eCommerce team
• Author user stories, acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects.
• Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with cross-functional internal teams as well as external partners to execute.
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
• Be data centric to make informed product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, A/B Testing, customer behavior, customer contact ticket analysis or other business metrics. Solicit and embrace critical feedback
• Will work closely with customer service, engineering, UX designers, Marketing and Site Merchandising team
• Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process
• Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders

• Knowledge of software engineering, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective product delivery.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products with your fingerprints all over them which you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.
• Stellar design instincts and product taste

• Finger-tipsiness with data: you just go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience in relevant field required. Minimum 2-3 years of Product Management plus hands-on software engineering experience strongly preferred
