Seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Executive to join the team at a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT landscape and will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships. This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
IDEAL CANDIDATE will be in the Knoxville area, or be able to be at the office in Knoxville multiple times per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver ICG presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of ICG offerings including MSP services.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud solutions, network security, and managed IT support.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
