Location: Bakersfield, CA – 5 days on-site, Monday-Friday
Work Hours: 8am-5pm PST

Role Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 desktop, network, and server support in a high-complexity, compliance-focused environment. Supporting approximately 600 users, this role emphasizes customer service and problem-solving to address inbound requests, both locally and remotely, with a high level of urgency. The position also includes monitoring onsite IT systems and managing warehouse devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop and hardware support, including MS Office, Active Directory, Landesk, Cisco hardware, and MDT imaging for PCs.
- Manage ticketing through SysAid, prioritizing 10-22 active high-priority tickets.
- Assist with deployment, support, and setup of mobile devices and RF units.
- Troubleshoot network issues and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Engage external vendors for services, support warehouse equipment, and maintain technical documentation.
- Assist in technology planning and budgeting and maintain an inventory of spare parts and electronic waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, associate degree or technical school preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, familiarity with O365, and exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking abilities; capable of working independently.
Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Predominantly an office-based role with occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Requires adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, high-demand setting.
