The schedule for this position is PRN which means the hours you will be working are as needed.
Position Highlights

- Department consists of 29 highly trained sonographers
- Exams performed at our Hospital, ED, and clinics are: Abdominal, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Liver Transplant Doppler, Renal Transplant Doppler, Musculoskeletal, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy Guidance, MSK Injection/Aspiration. OR including Liver Ablation, Liver Transplant Eval, Renal Transplant Eval and Biopsy, D & C. Pediatric and Neonate including Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro, Small Parts, Hips, Renal, Renal Doppler, and Vascular Access.
Job Summary
The Sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registration in OB/GYN and Abdominal modalities within six months of hire date is required.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
