Position Summary: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team in Atlanta. This individual will lead preconstruction efforts for our state-of-the-art data center projects, ensuring precision and excellence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and direct all preconstruction activities for data center projects, including estimating, scheduling, and logistics.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met throughout the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a strong focus on data center projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP, LEED, or similar certifications are preferred.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL with some travel required.
