O. Technical Solutions, LLC is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support our client, Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA. Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Space standard thermal analysis tools such as Thermal Desktop
• A deep understanding of heat transfer principles and their practical applications.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in spacecraft thermal systems, demonstrating the ability to handle complex thermal challenges.
• Proficiency with standard thermal analysis tools, ensuring accurate and efficient thermal modeling and analysis.
• Current Top-Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of finite element modeling and thermal protection materials
• Spacecraft component thermal vacuum testing experience, including test procedure development, instrumentation definition, test direction and post-test model correlation
• Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a commitment to Mission Success.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
O. Technical Solutions will provide the candidate, if hired by Lockheed Martin, a $3,000.00 spot bonus after 6-months of work completed.
