Responsibilities as a Quant Developer
You’ll join a thriving and expanding front-office team, developing the software and frameworks that drive their quantitative trading strategies. In a collaborative firm of less than 100 professionals, you'll work closely with and learn from senior quantitative portfolio managers and engineers who bring extensive experience across major financial markets.
You can expect to be:
- Providing fast market data to a trading system
- Building an integrated research and execution framework for fast predictors
- Creating simulation and research frameworks in a cloud environment
- Providing a robust research framework for a new asset class
Required competencies
- Professional coding experience
- Proficient in Python for quantitative research, including distributed computing and machine learning, and/or proficient in C++ that runs both on-prem and in the cloud
- Background in and aptitude for probability, statistics and advanced mathematics
- Strong work ethic and sense of accountability
