This could be a FULLY REMOTE position (option to go into various offices on the Northeast) at a large regional law firm, however all candidates must reside in the US, must be Admitted to the Bar in DC, MD, DE, VA, and/or NY, must have IP Entertainment experience, and must have an existing book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent law
- Prepare and negotiate license agreements
- Advise clients on patent infringement and validity issues
- Represent clients in patent-related litigation
- Stay current on changes in patent law and participate in continuing education opportunities
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Patent Prosecution and/or IP Litigation
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- MUST be admitted to the Bar in DC, MD, DE, VA and/or NY
- MUST have existing book of business/ portable book of business
- MUST have experience with IP Entertainment law
