General Purpose: Directs sales team on tactics, execution, and process to maximize profitability and revenue growth. The successful candidate has demonstrated experience attracting, retaining, and effectively coaching sales team members. As a member of the senior leadership team, this person will assist in developing, leading and driving the company’s overall sales and market strategy.
Job Duties: (duties include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Define and lead successful execution of key initiatives to achieve profitable revenue growth.
- Utilizes proven sales tactics and measurables to develop actionable plans and performance goals for the team.
- Effectively cascades deliverables to direct reports for execution.
- Monitors progress and adjusts resources as needed to achieve goals.
- Partners with the operations and finance team to achieve company’s long-term vision for revenue growth.
- Builds and maintains long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Regularly evaluates and coaches’ direct reports to strengthen and develop the team. Can identify and develop future managers to ensure operational continuity.
- Interact with sales employees and customers regularly to remain connected to the business and uncover innovation opportunities.
- Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape and be able to effectively articulate our value proposition to new customers.
- Develop and monitor employee incentive plans that drive desired behaviors and reward individual and team performance
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and marketing roles.
- Promotes a positive atmosphere, aligned with our culture. Keeps employees energized and engaged in our commercial activities. Focused on effectively managing team members, is accountable for results.
- Works collaboratively with the senior leadership team on business strategy.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications necessary.
- 7-10 years of overall combined sales and management experience.
- Sales experience within the manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experienced leveraged CRM, ERP tools to improve and develop the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, experienced using culture to incentivize and reward performance.
- Strong business acumen with proven financial performance.
- Demonstrated competency in budgeting, data analytics, and product management.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong professional integrity and work ethic.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner
