PRGX is a data management company that receives a significant amount of Source to Pay and Supplier Management data—over 7 petabytes each year. Using our proprietary technology, we ingest, compile, and standardize this data resulting in real-time insights, improved efficiencies, and cash flow.
We are in search of a proactive and results-driven Senior Marketing Events Specialist to lead in the strategic planning and execution of external and internal events—both in-person and virtual. This pivotal role is focused on enhancing brand presence and meeting marketing objectives through innovative event strategies. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Event Planning and Management: Independently develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with organizational marketing goals, focused on optimizing engagement and achieving desired outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, vendors, and sponsors, managing negotiations and collaborations to ensure alignment with event objectives and organizational standards.
- Budget Ownership: Full management of event budgets, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring expenditures to ensure optimal use of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Analytics and Performance Reporting: Utilize analytics frameworks to assess event success, leveraging data to guide strategic decisions and future improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish objectives, deadlines, and responsibilities to ensure internal alignment, success and efficiency.
- Marketing Integration: Seamlessly integrate event strategies with broader marketing initiatives, enhancing brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in event marketing, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance event effectiveness and attendee experiences.
- Vendor and Partner Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with essential vendors and partners, ensuring services meet quality expectations and align with brand values.
- Mentorship: Guide and support the development of junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event planning and event management related fields, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful event strategies.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of building robust relationships with both team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to be extremely detail oriented as you manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Solid analytical abilities, experienced in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Possess a strong sense of entrepreneurship, intellectual curiosity and humility.
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation and CRM and event management software is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
