React Developer - Senior
As a Senior React Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You’ll work closely with our product and design teams to create seamless user experiences, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in front-end development are followed. An understanding of AWS is highly desired for this role
This role will play an essential role in allowing a rapidly growing startup that is already profitable to scale. You will perform some additions to our legacy application however your primary focus will be on our new application which will require provide the business significant new functionality and scale. There is no travel required on this role. Enjoy working remote on Tuesday and Friday and every other Wednesday!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive web applications using React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, back-end) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, following best practices in JavaScript.
- Participate in the architecture and design of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React.
- 5+ years of Javascript
- PostgreSQL or other relational database experience
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Any exposure to the backend is a bonus Python is also a bonus
- Experience working in a start-up
- Experience working in a HIPAA environment
