Emerge is actively recruiting for a Talent Acquistion Manager position with a fantastic client company in Whitehall, MI. This onsite position is responsible for managing a team of 9 Recruiters in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Compensation includes a generous base salary, bonus and benefits package, and full relocation to Whitehall, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused team, instilling a culture that supports the business growth plan.
- Develop cost-effective staffing plans and strategies to meet the talent needs of the business.
- Responsible for understanding and assisting all plants with strategy related to recruiting to meet their business growth plan.
- Partners with Leaders and HRBP’s to create workforce plans supporting the overall needs of the business.
- Set annual hiring projections/forecasts for hiring based on data.
- Oversee the recruiting life cycle process; develop and streamline internal recruitment processes.
- Establish hiring criteria for candidate interviews and assessments and assist in finalizing hiring decisions, especially for senior roles.
- Ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations in our recruitment efforts.
- Develop, track, and evaluate metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment efforts. Establish the data/metrics for recruitment activities and communicate the information to leaders.
- Provide training and development to recruiting team members.
- Assure Human Resources activities pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) are in strict compliance with all Howmet policies and procedures and with governmental laws and regulations. Establish realistic goals for EEO and Affirmative Action plans and provide support to achieve them. Interface, as company representative, with government agents conducting audits on the company’s employment policies and practices.
- Create branding strategies to best position the company as the employer of choice.
- Develop and maintains relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in team building and management/leadership.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition including creation of hiring strategy and metrics.
- Experience managing recruitment function in a high-volume manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the segment.
