Job Description: Audio-Visual Technician
Summary: Seeking a motivated Audio-Visual Technician to provide support and maintain AV & Video Conferencing (VC) systems.
Primary Duties:
- Assist with AV/VC system setup and support for meetings and events.
- Perform daily VC room checks to ensure operational status.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance for optimal system performance.
- Provide operational support and basic equipment training for users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical AV/VC issues.
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for live events.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in AV/VC system operation and troubleshooting (control systems, VC codecs, displays, cameras, microphones, etc.).
- Basic IT and network configuration knowledge.
- Ability to read AV system diagrams and replace equipment as needed.
- Discretion with sensitive information.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in technical support, with expertise in AV/VC control systems, Video Conferencing, Video Walls, Digital Signage, and integration of systems like Crestron, Cisco, and Microsoft Teams.
Work Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed.
