About the Position: The Director of Sales provides leadership to the Sales team to position The Picerne Group as the premier luxury lifestyle multifamily operator in Southern California. We are looking for individuals who are strategic and who have a proven track record in sales. The applicant is expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills and communication effectiveness. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new sales strategies as well as supervising residential sales teams. You will be tasked with identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
Key Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all sales efforts for the Picerne properties
- Primarily responsible to achieve optimal occupany, rate miz, and to maximize total revenue for each of the Picerne properties
- Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performance sales team
- Achieve or exceed team sales goals including occupancy, rent growth, renewals/resident retention, and incremental revenue opportunities
- Set clear, ambitious sales targets and track individual and team performance against goals
- Hold the sales team accountable to sales goals
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the resident pipeline through prospecting
- Travel required up to five days a week to the Picerne Properties in Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Bernardino County
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 6+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the hospitality
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between properties
- Dynamic and persuasive sales skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite a plus
- Expertise in launching brands
- Must have highly developed analytical and negotiation skills
- Adept at establishing and maintaining professional relationships
- Excellent leadership track record
- Superior communication, interpersonal and customer service acumen
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and penetrate new markets
- Team player with solid motivation skills

Compensation: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential sales commission. Base salary is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
Location: The position is required to be onsite full time at our corporate office in Newport Beach, CA with regular travel, up to 5 days a week, to the Picerne properties in Cerritos, Laguna Niguel, Lomita, Newport Beach, Ontario, and Orange, CA.
