Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Monroe, NC
Pay: $24 to $32/hour (depending on experience)
Experience:
- Automation experience (robotics, troubleshoot sensors, etc.) is required
- CNC and electrical experience is required
- 3+ years of experience in plant maintenance is highly preferred
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- In lieu of experience, technical training (i.e. mechatronics) may be considered
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule:
- 2nd shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- 3rd shift, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Greene Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Survey and maintain all processes, including annual maintenance of major equipment
- Expedite and perform inspections, repairs and corrective actions for equipment failures
- Repair and maintain production machines, fixtures, tooling and facility equipment
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Complete work orders and collaborate with on-site equipment vendors
- Ensure all equipment is safe to operate, replacing or repairing guards or malfunctioning parts as necessary
- Use micrometers, calipers and other gauges to inspect components during assembly
- Operate a forklift efficiently
- Interpret electrical schematics and use multimeters for diagnostics and hand tools proficiently
- Support maintenance activities across shifts and on weekends as needed for production
- Adhere to OSHA safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures for hazardous energy control
Position Requirements:
- Experience with troubleshooting, repair, teardown and restoration of large CNC cells is preferred
- Experience with maintenance of conveyor systems and hydraulic and pneumatic assembly equipment is highly desired
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings for troubleshooting, including PLCs
- Use a multimeter and hand tools proficiently to diagnose and resolve issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including mills, drills, lathes and robotics (e.g., Fannic robots)
- Uphold OSHA safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, with prior experience preferred
- Support maintenance activities on night shifts, weekends and as production schedules require
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to quickly restore machinery and adapt to equipment upgrades and changes
- Must be a self-starter, focused on efficiency and quick problem-solving
