For these contractor assignments, the objective of this project is to transfer all DuckCreek Policy and DuckCreek Rating data to AWS, followed by Snowflake. The process involves moving the data through AWS S3, landing it in Snowflake and then cleaning and preparing it for business logic or data transformations before making it available in views for Analysts.
These contractors will leverage knowledge of AWS/Snowflake/Prefect/SQL to support overall strategy of combining and enhancing SQL data to allow for more robust analysis. Overseeing a team of developers for the purpose of adherence to coding standards that deliver on a quality result. This includes attending and supporting all aspects of the project development lifecycle and building a partnership with leadership and application development teams.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Develop data pipelines to load data from S3 into various schema of Snowflake
• Design and develop given data Transformations.
• Write unit tests.
• Schedule code reviews and follow provided development and deployment standards.
Required Skills:
• Cloud Developer experience
• Snowflake

Preferred Skills:
• AWS/S3 would be most preferred Cloud technology
• HVR experience
• Jenkins experience
• DevOps experience
