Ship Estimator
Location: Norfolk, Virginia (Relocation Required)
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and additional hours as needed

Responsibilities:
- Estimating: Accurately estimate costs and labor for Drydocking, Outfitting, Electrical, Plumbing, Machining, Hotwork, and Undocking.
- Drydocking: Estimate costs and manpower required to drydock various vessels, including pilot boats and coast guard cutters.
- Outfitting, Electrical, Machining, Plumbing, and Hotwork: Develop comprehensive cost and time estimates, including necessary parts procurement.
- Undocking: Plan and estimate reverse drydocking operations.
- Project Management: Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure timely completion of estimates.
- Adaptability: Work in a dynamic, shipyard environment with flexibility for additional hours as projects require.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ship estimating experience within a shipyard setting.
- Expertise: Proven ability to estimate labor and costs across a range of shipyard operations (Drydocking, Outfitting, Electrical, Plumbing, Machining, Hotwork, and Undocking).
- Location: Must be willing to relocate to the Norfolk, VA area.
- Availability: Flexible to work any shift or additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
