A Japanese manufacturing company is looking for a producation manager in Adairsville, GA. Experience at Japanese companies are huge plus. Supervising over 25 people.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all departments such as Production, Quality, Maintenance and Shipping.
Give ideas on how to improve quality and minimize downtimes/waste.
Have techniques to maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Maximize overall production output from different shifts with minimal management resources by implementing cross- training plant wide.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
Plan and establish a safety training program by coordinating with internal / external departments.
Maintain SOPs for different work processes and make sure all controlled documents are up to date.
Must meet quality standard for services and evaluations of customer satisfaction.
Monitors EDI status through supplier/integral portal and communicates customer sales volume to management team in order to accurately plan material availability and production capacity.
5-6 years of experience in production management
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a climate changing work environment.
Management and JP company experience
