We are currently seeking an outgoing, highly motivated individual with strong business development and closing skills to sell clinically studied and patented herbal ingredients to new and existing business.
Must have a demonstrated track record of closing sales, achieving sales goals and growing business in a designated territory
This position is remote with someone residing in the West Coast region in the greater Los Angeles, CA area or Southern California
Key Responsibilities:
· Prospect through cold calls, e-mails and immediate follow up on leads provided
· Meet required goals of in-person and web meetings with the ability to present technical/clinical information to increase demand and generate a strong sales pipeline to close [no period]
· Update and maintain current database (CRM) consistently with all sales activities and opportunities
· Participate in tradeshows, and consistent planned travel inside territory
· Follow up on prospects and clients to strengthen relationships, build sales and ensure client satisfaction [no period]
· Support company initiatives and teamwork within organization and with accounts that cross territories
Job requirements:
· Education: BS in a science area or higher: preferred
· 5 - 7 years of ingredient or industry/health-related sales: required
· Required travel (25-50%)
· Successful track record in closing sales and business development, and handling all aspects of the sale
· Solid experience with CRMs and Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
· Good communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
· Fiscal responsibility (managing T&E business expenditure and expenses management)
