A well-respected safety consultancy based in the Bay Area is looking for a Construction H&S Trainer to join their team. You will be responsible for providing H&S training and consulting services for their clientele throughout the region. The Role:
- Provide training and consulting to construction organizations throughout the Bay Area and beyond, related to safe construction practices, regulations, and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to providing consulting services in areas such as Confined Space, Excavation, Industrial Trucks, CPR, First Aid, Fall Protection, Scaffold etc.
- Deliver training on a variety of construction and safety-related topics to employees at client sites at all levels within the client organizations.
- Undertake job site inspections, accident investigations and audits as deemed necessary
- Ensure clients remain compliant and informed of industry regulatory changes when it comes to bodies such as OSHA etc.
The Candidate:
- A self-starter, with strong communication skills who can engage with internal & external stakeholders alike
- Circa. 5 years hands on safety experience working and delivering training programs within the construction industry
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or other related discipline (preferred)
- Home based in the Bay Area and happy with regional travel required to client projects in Northern California.
