Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a Manufacturing Automation Engineer for a growing manufacturing company in the Skagit Valley Region. This direct-hire role offers long-term career growth and competitive benefits.
As a Manufacturing Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of manufacturing processes and controls systems for plant operations.
Manufacturing Automation Engineer responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage automated systems
- Perform and document control system testing
- Reviewing reports and test results
- Design and develop components
- Maintaining quality and safety standards
- Integrate controls systems, hardware, and processes
- Perform and maintain an inventory of all control systems
- Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to automation programs
Preferred education and experience:
- Technical Degree such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, similar, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years’ electro-mechanical manufacturing experience
- PLC and robotics experience
Salary range: $75,000-$90,000
