Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Superintendent to oversee field operations, ensuring construction projects are completed on time and within budget. Ideal for a professional with a strong background in geotechnical or civil construction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage field operations, aligning with policies and project requirements.
- Coordinate construction crews (8-25 members) and plan project activities.
- Interpret blueprints, schedules, and project documentation.
- Approve work schedules, timekeeping records, and material deliveries.
- Prepare daily reports and communications.
- Mentor and train team members.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a drug-free environment.
- Perform light administrative tasks and safety inspections.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years in geotechnical or civil construction crew management.
- Preferred 10+ years in geotechnical or heavy civil construction.
- Experience with deep foundations, drilled shafts, micropiles, and auger cast piles (ACIP).
- Proficient in reading technical documents, contracts, and specifications.
- Strong skills in scheduling, supervision, and quality control.
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods.
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction Card required.
