We are looking for a Landscape Architect to lead our clients Landscape Architecture department which consists of 5+ staff. This position would be tasks with leading/managing the current department while helping them grow the department through adding new projects/clients and staff! Duties:
- Lead/manage the department overseeing all landscape architecture and land planning projects & staff
- Client management/business development
- Lead/manage project such as: entitlement processes for MD/VA/DC, feasibility studies, forest conservation planning, streetscape design, outdoor amenity space design, and more
- Lead/mentor department staff
- Construction document preparation
Qualifications:
- 8-12+ years of landscape architecture/land planning experience
- LA license
- Experience with managing client relationships & business development in the region
- Experience managing projects & staff
