Element Staffing is seeking an Entry Level account manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a four year degree in life sciences but don't want a career in a lab, this might be the job you're looking for! The account manager will be accountable for sales activities for the Houston office which includes lead identification, cold calling, setting appointments, making presentations, and closing sales through effective negotiation. The account manager will partner with the recruiting team to deliver candidates in a timely manner, drive the hiring process, and actively participate in client follow-ups after placements. Sales or account management experience is preferred but not required. Recent graduates with a four year degree in science are encouraged to apply.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Possess a proven ability to build relationships, network, and communicate both orally and in writing.
- Interact with clients to establish strong relationships through a variety of means such as in person meetings, lunches, phone calls.
- Meet or exceed individual goals.
- Negotiate rates and other terms and conditions with clients.
- Work directly with recruiters to relay job requirements, market and submit candidates, and provide timely updates on hiring process.
- Assist recruiting team with sourcing, recruiting activities, and other tasks as needed.
- Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.
- Work as team player with all staff members and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science highly desired, Bachelor’s degree in other discipline acceptable (Recent grads are encouraged to apply)
- 1-3+ years of sales, customer service or lab experience
- Availability and willingness to work before/after typical hours as workload demands
- Outstanding time management, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to multi-task, change priorities regularly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit and service-oriented mindset
- High sense of urgency
