EHS Associate
Location: Medina, NY (onsite)
Duration: 4+ months (possibility of extension)
Summary
(Main purpose of the job) To develop, implement and administrate all applicable environmental, health, safety (EHS) programs as assigned. Responsible for site compliance with all federal, state and local environmental Programs or Health and Safety regulations. Provides technical support to the Medina leadership and quality, engineering, facilities, maintenance and manufacturing staff. This position will be primarily focused on Health and Safety programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(List of Primary responsibilities of this role that account for 50% or more of the work. Incumbent may perform other duties as assigned.) • Execute the elements EHSS Management System (including ISO 14001 & 45001) as necessary
• Assist with the administration and implementation of EHS policies and programs.
• Complete program reviews, including periodic revisions and updates to standard operating procedures.
• Complete tasks related to environmental and sustainability programs including but not limited to: Air, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste (including Universal Waste), Risk Management, Recycling, Emergency Response, Spill Prevention, Stormwater Control, Wastewater etc.
• Reporting of relevant data for monthly metrics and incidents into the Information Management System Benchmark as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with existing EHSS regulations and Client requirements; follows emerging
Education and/or Experience

1. B.S. Degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering or related field required;
2. Minimum 2-5 years of related experience which should include leadership experience through direct supervision or indirect leadership roles (project management, leading teams, mentoring
