We are seeking an experienced Compensation Contractor with a strong background in sales compensation, analytical expertise, and a thorough understanding of compensation systems . This role will support our compensation team with projects related to salary planning, range development, and analytics involving complex sales functions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with broad compensation knowledge and the ability to effectively manage and deliver on critical compensation projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in the design and implementation of sales compensation structures, including salary planning, range development, and incentive programs, for commission-eligible roles in nuanced sales functions.
- Assist in the implementation of the salary planning process including system setup and administration
- Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data to develop and maintain competitive salary ranges, adjusting for market trends and internal equity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, HR, Finance, and Business Operations, to gather insights and ensure alignment with compensation strategies.
- Utilize compensation tools and systems to analyze data, update plans, and generate reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide detailed metrics and reporting to support decision-making related to sales compensation programs and other broad-based compensation initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in sales compensation, with a strong analytical background.
- Hands-on experience with compensation systems, with the ability to navigate, update, and manage data effectively.
- Solid knowledge of compensation fundamentals, including salary planning, pay range development, and market analysis for commission-based roles.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, with excellent project management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, including the ability to explain complex data in an understandable way.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
The base salary ranges for this position are below. The ranges provided exclude other forms of compensation such as equity and bonus.
New York: $44.00 - $66.00 hourly
Grubhub uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. In addition to the base salary, the role might also come with equity and other pay incentives as part of the full compensation package.
