We are looking for an experienced Managing Attorney with a passion for family law to join our team. As a key member of our family law practice, you will handle diverse cases and make a meaningful impact on our clients’ lives. This position is critical in helping us maintain excellence in client service by balancing legal expertise, client advocacy, and collaboration. You will excel in our fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where your attention to detail and outstanding communication skills will be highly valued.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent in this position would be expected to do the following:
- Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of family law cases, ensuring quality representation and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Develop and implement case strategies that effectively address clients’ needs and objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and timely communication regarding case developments.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective success and uphold the firm’s values and standards.
- Primarily work from home but attend all required in-court appearances and be available for in-person client meetings at the office when requested.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to the Texas State Bar, maintaining good standing.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with significant experience in family law and proven leadership skills in managing a legal team.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of family law principles and practices, including litigation processes, case management, and applicable statutes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and colleagues.
- Client-Centric Approach: A strong commitment to providing exceptional client service, with a focus on understanding clients’ needs and delivering effective legal solutions.

Compensation: $213,600
ADA Compliance: All candidates and incumbents are expected to perform the duties as assigned so long as they can meet the expectations set forth with or without reasonable accommodations. Notes on Compensation: This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the base salary that this individual is expected receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
