Title: Software Developer – Applications Development (Angular, C#, ASP.NET, Oracle)

About the Role:
A major state agency is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their team, supporting critical projects within Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This remote role requires a candidate within the state of Texas and involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software solutions using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Research, design, implement, and manage software programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and user community.
- Testing and Evaluation: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of assigned applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure cohesive and efficient program functionality.
- Code Review and Standards Compliance: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and system/business requirements.
- Agile Practices: Utilize Agile or Scrum methodologies to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 years of experience in software development, programming, and analyzing complex business processes.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: High-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT industry trends, infrastructure, and security standards, including data protection practices.
- Agile Methodology: Proven experience in Agile or Scrum practices to ensure efficient solution delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Architectural Knowledge: Familiarity with software architecture and infrastructure relevant to large organizations.
- Additional Skills: Experience in information management methodologies and familiarity with software architecture standards.
