Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Pay rate range: $31.58 - $47.35
Duration: Temporary assignment for 3 months
Location: North Hollywood, CA
Required Duties
- Assist with weekly payroll input managed by the central payroll
- Timekeeping maintenance and collection
- Prepare and process garnishments
- Provide support to employees regarding any payroll inquiries
- Prepare overtime reports and monthly payroll reports
- Support external and internal audits
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as needed
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including Simple formula usage (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE) and Advanced formula usage (e.g., VLOOKUP), Pivot table creation and manipulation, Data sorting and filtering, Cell formatting and basic functions
- Basic proficiency in other MS products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Conscientious, organized, and meticulous - records must be accurate and maintained
- Read and understand internal procedures and policies\
- Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions
- Capable of diplomatically interacting with difficult and sensitive personnel situations using good judgment and negotiating skills.
- Strong problem-resolution skills and ability to assess when an issue must be escalated to the next level.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Education Level:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
3-5 Years of experience in related experience and/or training: equivalent combination of education and experience.
