Position Overview
The Sales & Use Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of sales and use tax in the company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and use tax planning strategies for clients
- Manage sales and use tax audits and inquiries
- Review and approve sales and use tax returns and reconciliations
- Mentor and develop Associates and Senior Associates
- Lead and manage multiple complex sales and use tax engagements.
- Monitor and communicate changes in state tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Sales and Use Tax in a consulting role
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
- CPA, CMI, or JD is a plus
