Qualifications
- Senior Network Engineer - Cisco EVPN VxLAN with PaloAlto Experience.
- A strong problem solver.
- Minimum 8 years network engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or IS-IS
- Extensive knowledge of overlay technologies such as IPSec, VxLAN, MPLS, and Cloud deployments
- Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers/switches, firewalls, load-balancers, and Wi-Fi solutions
- Strong understanding of traffic flow across complex network deployments; able to identify issues from a physical link through to application level
- Cisco CCNP or Arista ACE level 5 or equivalent professional certifications.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of overlay technologies such as IPSec, VxLAN, MPLS, and Cloud deployments
Responsibilities
- Design, Build and optimize existing Data Center network and WAN network environment.
- Possess detailed understanding of Cisco EVPN VXLAN multi-site design and implementation in a large-scale enterprise Data Center.
- Work with various project teams to support migration to SDWAN.
- Level 2,3 support of the DC and enterprise network.
- Work on network transformation and migration projects as needed.
- You communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and team members and provide constructive feedback when needed.
- Generate conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures, test plans, requirements, use cases, and interface control documents to ensure the design and delivery of network LAN/WAN architecture that conforms to application and user requirements.
- Develop appropriate metrics to measure the monitoring program and related process as directed by management.
- Creating and implementing configuration standards, policies, and/or procedures for improved operations and management.
