About the Role
As Commercial Insurance Client Service Leader, you manage and lead all account management and retention strategies. With a focus on employee development, customer service cohesiveness, and ensuring excellent client retention & satisfaction, you’ll have a tremendous impact on a growing practice within an entrepreneurial and rapidly expanding national insurance broker.
Duties & Responsibilities
You ensure your direct reports successfully accomplish individual and team goals, working seamlessly with other service groups, marketing, and sales.
- Participate in recruiting, new hire training, and employee development activities for client service employees including Account Executives, Account Managers, and support associates. Explore any and all options for continuing education.
- Foster a culture of support, encouragement, and collaboration. Develop and execute individual performance plans, ensuring a high level of job satisfaction while maximizing the efficiency and productivity of each team member.
- Build strong working relationships with other agency groups. Streamline the process for account management. Develop service plans tailored to key accounts, Assist with renewal preparation Provide support on critical and complex account issues in conjunction with the sales and service team.
- Take charge of escalated service issues, working with internal and external partners to investigate and resolve client complaints.
- Represent the company at industry and networking events.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum ten (10) years of insurance industry experience involved with similar client service development and service strategies.
- Strong leadership experience; minimum five (5) years of management experience is preferred. Able to influence teams, mentor and guide other professionals to achieving their goals, and support the agency’s executive team is executing strategic plans.
- Active P&C insurance license is required.
