Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Django backend solutions to help build scalable, high-performance web applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that drive scientific discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django/Python.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Python (Django).
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficient in Git, test-driven development, and agile practices.
