• Job Description: preop surgical patients and/or recover surgical patients in Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery.
o Preop: weights, vitals, assessment, IVs, pre-medications
o Phase 1: vitals, assessments, pain control, post-op nausea/vomiting control
o Phase 2: vitals, assessments, patient education, prepare for discharge
• Hours: we are open to either five 8-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Or even one of both. There is no call/holiday/weekend/night requirement.
• Requirements: ACLS and PALS certified, 2+ years experience in preop and/or recovery of surgical patients
• General Information: multi-specialty surgery center; GI, general, ENT, plastics, dental, ortho, podiatry, GYNE, urology, ophthalmology. We have 4 ORs, 6 Phase 1 bays, and 14 Phase 2 rooms. Average caseload between 15-20/day
