Due to continued success, our client is currently hiring for a Senior Avionics Engineer within their Network Systems Division.
The Role:

You’ll work closely with experts across Certification, PMO, Supply Chain, and leading industry vendors, ensuring seamless integration and top-tier performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical System Design: Spearhead the design of electrical, avionics, connectors, and other systems for advanced broadband Internet connectivity products. Develop specifications, system interconnects, wiring diagrams, and connector layouts, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Component Selection: Identify and procure high-reliability components and materials that meet aviation durability and compatibility standards.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into aircraft designs.
- Testing and Validation: Create and implement test plans and procedures, oversee testing processes, and analyze results to verify the performance and safety of electrical systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with aviation regulations and certification standards to ensure all systems align with industry requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate and mitigate risks, developing contingency strategies to address potential challenges.
- Technical Leadership: As the team expands, mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on electrical engineering and aviation-specific best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aviation, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on aviation or aerospace applications.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) and aircraft design methodologies. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as DO-254, DO-160.
- Solid understanding of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aviation, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and simulation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating ownership of complex projects.
