Job Title: Sales Representative

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Location: Greater Toledo, Ohio
Basic Job Functions:
The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing the company's market penetration in the USA by working with the existing customer base and developing new accounts.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficient with internet research and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- 3-5 years of sales experience.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Minimum of five years of direct work experience in Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while meeting established sales quotas.
- Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance, with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
- Experience in opportunity qualification (often involving multiple key decision-makers), pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time/territory management.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques, along with problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, with exceptional listening, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm, capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
- Able to perform basic calculations and be detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- College degree preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license required; passport is desirable.
- Frequent travel required, up to 50% or more, including some overnight travel.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Research and become knowledgeable about new markets within the USA.
- Cultivate relationships with current customers, understand their business needs, and identify opportunities to serve them better, providing training as necessary.
- Identify and develop new customer accounts to facilitate further market penetration and sales growth. Provide training and product demonstrations as required.
- Achieve annual sales and profit goals.
- Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective accounts using CRM software.
- Provide timely reporting of accounts and sales activity to your supervisor.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to represent the company in a positive manner.
- Actively manage call schedules to cover assigned territory efficiently.
- Stay updated on new products, services, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
