About the Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer for the automotive fuel injector division, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure the development, measurement, and maintenance of product and process procedures. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting manufacturing efforts through technical leadership, process improvements, and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a Tier 1/Tier 2 Automotive Supplier or OEM
- Strong knowledge of ISO or QS standards
- Experience with project management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred:
- Experience with root cause analysis/problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin, Six Sigma)
- Previous engineering experience in an automotive setting

- Leadership: Ability to coordinate multiple projects and guide teams towards achieving objectives.
- Organization: Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SOPs, Control Plans, and other TS16949-compliant documentation.
- Lead the development of new product manufacturing processes, including equipment specifications.
- Conduct cost justifications for new products.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support successful new product launches.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to drive quality improvements and address process issues.
- Lead initiatives focused on scrap and waste reduction.
- Support other tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.
