About this Job
As an Area Manager at Evenly, you will drive sales of our orthodontic services as an individual contributor and by leading a team of Key Account Managers through in-person new business development and revenue generation. Your area will be across multiple territories in the south Florida area.
What you'll be doing
- Build new business in your own defined Territory and increase revenue with existing customers
- Model best practices for account acquisition and development to acquire new practices and build revenue with existing customers
- Lead and coach Key Account Managers (KAMs) in your Area to grow their business by acquiring new dental practices and increasing revenue at existing practices
- Plan and execute a Territory plan for the KAMs in your Area, based on understanding the potential in each account
- Work alongside Regional Sales Director and Field Sales Trainer to train new KAMs in your Area on all aspects of the position, including co-traveling with new KAMs to close new accounts and successfully onboard new practices
- Meet and/or Co-travel weekly with all KAMs in your Area to ensure they have plans in place, achieve their goals for the week/month/quarter, and to coach on actions for achievement
- Assist KAMs to create and execute account plans for highest potential practices, based on deep understanding of the practice’s business, goals, challenges and opportunities
- Utilize data analytics to help drive prospect decision making
- Cover the functions for any KAMs in the Area, as needed
- Work with your Regional Sales Director to implement other activities and functions to increase quality and production of the KAMs in your Area
What we're looking for in our candidates
- 3+ years in an Area Sales Manager role, with experience supervising, coaching, leading, training and developing outside B2B sales representatives in a defined area/region
- Ability to train and coach others to identify potential accounts, develop an acquisition strategy, and close deals
- Proven success meeting sales goals with documented awards and achievements as a key account or territory manager, preferably in B2B dental or medical sales as both a hunter and a farmer
- Ability to effectively consult and communicate with key decision makers and provide business solutions that meet their business needs
- Ability to engage and influence others through oral and written communication
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of urgency, growth mind-set, and high energy
- Experience with Microsoft office and CRM systems; committed to documenting client interactions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
