We are looking for a toolmaker with basic machinist skills and experience for an entry level position to assist in the repair and fabrication of complex and precision metal parts. You will be working with manual and CNC machine tools.
Job Requirements:
- Setup and operate all types of metal fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings ensuring accuracy and precision
- Make, modify and repair complex metal parts
- Perform complex preventative maintenance on mold making tools and equipment including disassembly, cleaning, replacement, repair, reassembly
- Setup and operate injection molding equipment
- Repair including polishing of plastic injection molds
- Assist senior toolmakers in more complex maintenance and repair operations
- Observe all safety, quality, operational, and environmental policies and procedures
- Inspect and operate hoists
Candidate Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Technical training / Certification as Machinist or Toolmaker
- 1-3 years experience as Machinist or Toolmaker in lieu of Certification
- EDM (plunge) experience
- Able to work 12 hour night shift (1900 hours - 0700 hours) on a 3-2-2-3 schedule
