Farmers Insurance Protégé Agent Program

Our Protégé Agent Program places you in a successful Farmers agency in your community, working directly with the Agent to learn how to sell, service and manage an insurance agency. After successful completion of the 12 month program, you will have the opportunity to qualify to be your own agent. Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete a background check, obtain required insurance licenses and complete required training.

Training and Development (includes but not limited to):
- Sales lead tracking and management using CRM tools
- Multi-channel prospecting including substantial phone and email follow-up
- Customer suitability and insurance coverage consultation
- Development and presentation of insurance proposals
- Establish and support client relationships with timely and exceptional service
- Agency office operations including fiduciary responsibilities, staffing, team management
- Professional networking including social media, business to business, referral groups, etc.
Requirements:
- One year of sales and/or marketing experience is required
- One year of professional office experience is required
- Ability to obtain or already carry insurance licenses
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take risks
- Genuine thirst to learn to be mentored
- Great self-starter and operate with a sense of urgency
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- College degree preferred but not required
