How You Will Contribute/Position Summary:
The HRIS Administrator will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. The position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, supporting HR processes, and providing training and assistance to HR staff and employees on system functionalities. The HRIS Admin will play a pivotal role in testing, managing, and optimizing the systems for HR data management and reporting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, testing, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Identifies and monitors vendor resolution of technical issues impacting HR and payroll functions.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Develops and maintains HRIS reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance metrics.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Audits data across integrated HR systems to guarantee integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Additional Responsibilities
- Responds to inquiries in a timely manner, escalating items though appropriate channels when necessary.
- Supports HRIS maintenance ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and compiles reports from database.
- Maintains accurate and confidential personnel records ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Attends meetings as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Are Seeking/Education and Experience:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, Information Technology or related field. Minimum of 3 years HRIS administration experience and functional HR knowledge required. Experience working with multi-state, multi-company strongly preferred.
