Key Responsibilities:
You will report directly to the Director of Finance USA Operations. You will be a key contributor to various ad-hoc finance projects and creating management financial statements for analyzing customers and products profitability. You will always be pursuing continuous improvement, working to automate and enhance reporting while bringing actionable analysis to all areas of the business. This is an exciting position where innovation and new ideas with attention to detail and understanding of the business come together to add value to the company and leadership team.
- Maintain financial models in support of monthly financial reporting, annual strategic planning & full year bottoms-up budgeting plus bi-annual detail forecasts.
- Manage Financial staff consisting of Accounting Manager, AP Manager, AP & AR Specialist, Billing and Collections Manager.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review financial statement information compared to expected results and deliver clear and concise variance explanations that identify root causes and estimate the impact on the results.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Collect, analyze, and manage large date sets of qualitative data from various system applications and assists in the development of meaningful reports.
- Perform analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support business decisions and ensure financial implications are fully understood.
- Assist in the preparation of executive presentations to be used by senior leadership. Partner with and support business unit management with financial questions and requests
- Manage State business licenses and annual reports.
- Manage Government surveys.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the organization.
- Key contributor to various business expansion projects by effectively leveraging finance acumen and advanced Excel skills.
- Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of senior leadership.
What you bring:
- A four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting combined with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Accounting environment or similar finance role.
- 3 years combined of both on-site and remote team management experience.
- CPA or CMA certification would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other relevant financial regulations.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with annual budgeting process, short and mid-term financial forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience analyzing data and trends, with strong attention to detail, to develop financial models and improve reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Self-driven and highly motivated, who can work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of building reports and automating processes utilizing Microsoft Platform and Office tools (Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with a food and beverage company is a plus.
